With over 18 years hands-on experience in diamond-grinding, resin formulation, and architectural flatwork, Marco Sovas founded SOVAS on a single non-negotiable premise: direct master craftsmanship without subcontracting shortcuts.
Raised with a deep respect for masonry and materials science, Marco spent over a decade refining polymer adhesion, moisture vapor mitigation, and lithium silicate densification across high-end coastal properties in California. From multi-million dollar Montecito estates to working wineries in Paso Robles, Marco brings the same obsessive preparation to every square foot.

Our 3-Step Process
Most coating failures stem from rushed preparation. We invest 70% of our project timeline into mechanical profiling before a single drop of resin is mixed.
Diamond Profiling & Moisture Testing
We measure concrete hardness with Mohs scratch tests and test for internal moisture vapor emissions (MVER). Slabs are mechanically profiled with planetary diamond grinders (CSP 2–3) to open concrete capillaries.

Molecular Penetrating Priming

High-Solid Armor & Hand Finishing

Precision Tooling & Equipment
A floor is only as reliable as the machinery behind it. We operate heavy 800lb planetary diamond grinders, specialized dustless pulse vacuums, and digital testing probes to ensure surgical precision.
Triple-filter continuous-pulse vacuums capture 99.97% of airborne particulates, keeping residential interiors and commercial spaces clean.
